Aquacultural Remote Classroom (ARC)

The boys and girls in 6th class thoroughly enjoyed their day on the ARC (Aquacultural Remote Classroom). The children explored a range of topics around the theme of aquaculture, including fish farming, health and nutrition and sustainability. The ARC is designed to help younger audiences learn about aquaculture using immersive technologies including VR headsets so pupils can plunge to the depths’ of the sea to learn about how salmon, oysters and mussels are farmed in Ireland.
