First Holy Communion

May 16th was one of those most special and precious of days, the day when the boys and girls of Second class in Scoil Íosagáin made their First Holy Communion. We are so very proud of them and ask that you keep them in your prayers today and always.

Thank you to all who helped prepare the children for receiving this beautiful sacrament: Fr. Bradley for a lovely celebration of Mass, our teachers and SNAs for their dedication and commitment, our parents for their steadfast support, our wonderful choir whose music and singing always adds so much to the ceremony, and to all who helped prepare and serve the tea afterwards. We also thank Máire, our parish catechist for her guidance. But our biggest thank you is for the children who have been so very good, not just today but throughout the year. We hope you all have a lovely day.
